Speaker: Dr. Bruce Marshall

Bruce Marshall is a Unitarian Universalist minister who has served congregations in Michigan, New York, Ohio, Tennessee, and Maryland. He is retired from parish ministry and now serves as a chaplain at Riderwood Village, a continuing care retirement community in Silver Spring. He is also a writer. His fifth book, “In Later Years: Finding Meaning and Spirit in Aging,” has been published by Skinner House Books. Bruce is married to Amy Dibner, an architect. They live near downtown Silver Spring.

Each of us is getting older. Year by year, day by day, hour by hour. With aging, comes change. How do we approach the changes that aging brings? In this service, I’ll draw upon my book, just published, which considers how people in their later years address questions of meaning and spirit. Copies of the book—In Later Years—will be available.
