September 12^th- Ingathering Water Sharing Intergenerational Service                        10:00am Southern Maryland Higher Education Center; Regular Nursery Care Begins.           Every new church year we gather for a special “Water Sharing Ceremony” a ritual that serve to remind us of our deepest connections of community to the earth and to one another.

Please join us this Intergenerational Celebration Worship for all ages at our regular worship time (10:00am) at Southern Maryland Higher Education Center. Please bring a small sample of water to be shared during this service.
September 19^th   “Why Worship?”  Come explore the history and origins of human spirituality as we ask ourselves the question of how relevant worship is to our lives today. –Rev. Lori Staubitz            **Children’s Regular Religious Education Program Begins
A Music for Worship Retreat will be held from 12:00-4:00 at Eliza Garth’s home following the worship   service this Sunday. This retreat is open to all UUCC musicians and vocalists. Please bring a brown bag lunch and drink as well as specific selections of music to share for consideration.
September 26^th  Just Works Sunday- Planning Session at Asbury; Nursery Care available
Each year we gather together as a community to reflect upon our outreach mission to the community and to plan and choose our course for this new congregational year. Join your voices and choices to this Lively process as we continue to put our faith into action.

October 3^rd  Evolutionary Religion: How developed are you? Faith development, like human development has many stages. Come explore the possibility of your own evolution and next steps.  We will also celebrate “Association Sunday” as we call attention to the wider network of religious community of which we are all a part.
